About Your Photographer
Growing up as a self taught portrait artist, with pencil & charcoal as my medium, I naturally gravitated to the arts field later on in college. During my time obtaining my Associate of Science in Graphic Design, I came across a photography class in 2010. The rest you can say is history. From that point on, I honed my craft as a portrait artist with a camera constantly glued to my hands. This also includes time spent on movie sets as a unit stills photographer. This has thought me to constantly look for the perfect angle and lighting in every moment. Just ask my 18 year old son, Landon. He knows ALL about it! He is a professional stand-in on half of my photo shoots and will be my second assist on half of my sessions as he has learned his way around the camera and gear.

Meaning of Kolibri:
The name Kolibri, meaning “hummingbird” in multiple languages ( French, German, Polish,Ukrainian, and more) was chosen with purpose. Hummingbirds are symbols of presence, agility, and beauty in motion—qualities that deeply resonate with the way photography is approached at Kolibri. Much like a hummingbird moves through the world with grace and sharp awareness, Kolibri Photography is driven by the ability to catch the fleeting, meaningful moments that often go unnoticed. It’s this balance of stillness and spontaneity that defines the brand and brings every image to life.
